Students create paper-cut art in E China

Pupils from Zhonghua Road Primary School learn the Chinese paper-cut art from folk artist Yin Guilan at Yinshanmen community in Zhenjiang, east China's Jiangsu province, Jan 13, 2015. The 71-year-old Yin is a famous folk artist for paper-cut in Zhenjiang, and her works have won prizes in many national level folk art competitions. According to the local authorities, the idea of combining the paper-cut and teaching is an innovative attempt, which helps not only to pass down the beautiful Chinese traditional art but also cultivate students' aesthetic appreciation and hone their skills.
