Plastic romance
Known as a "plastics alchemist", South Korean artist Choi Jeong-hwa brings his artworks to Beijing with a solo show titled ON. The exhibits that include more than a dozen large plastic installations in flashy colors are already drawing crowds at a city mall. The artist says he uses plastic to make his pieces look familiar to people.
