Third Kind of Criticism, an exhibition featuring works of 22 prominent artists in China's contemporary art world, explores the use of materials when creating art. For more than 30 years, China's artists have focused on two kinds of art: One is politically themed (known as "Political Pop") and the other is avant-garde art that often aims to be eye-catching. The show is set to discuss a new trend in the art world by displaying works and papers of famed artists including Zhan Wang, Liu Xiaodong, Xu Bing and Qiu Zhijie.
