The calligraphy piece, 10 meters high and over 100 meters long, was written by the famous calligrapher Luo Sangui and is the highlight of the grand art exhibit during the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. Tao Te Ching (Classic of the Virtue), the universal Taoist text book written by Lao Tze more than 2,000 years ago, details topics ranging from political advice to practical wisdom. It also laid a foundation for Chinese philosophy.
