Paper-cutting and calligraphy were among the traditional Chinese crafts sampled by some young athletes attending the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, East China’s Jiangsu province.

The Chinese culture hut in the village at the games welcomed the athletes, who are from all over the world, on Aug 14, 2014. They also learned about other aspects of Chinese culture, including lanterns, the Chinese knot and the musical instrument called the Guzheng.
