The 2015 (13th) Sichuan TV Festival, hosted by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) and the Sichuan Provincial People's Government, will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan province from November 6 to 8, organizers said at a news conference in Beijing today.

Established in 1991, the biennial festival is one of Asia's most prestigious international festivals for television programming and awards those who have excelled in the industry.

"Our goal is to revitalize the industry and turn China's film, radio and television into a new force of development for China," said Li, who is also a member of the Sichuan TV Festival organizing committee.

"Tailor-made content and merging media (traditional and new media) are two of our main focuses this year. We hope to promote the internationalized TV industry in China and showcase China's achievement in the TV industry through this festival," added Zhao.
