4. Songtang Village
Villagers have maintained the traditional architecture of the Lingnan style, especially in the ancestral halls. A stroll by the lake reveals elderly villagers playing mahjong among the shade trees. Education is highly valued in Songtang Village, so watch for people reading newspapers on stools in the alleys.
