Spoiled kid sparks anger

A video showing a boy hitting and kicking his grandmother on a subway in Nanjing sparked wide anger among Chinese web users. The video shows the boy continuously hitting his grandmother using a vacuum cup, and slapping her in the face when she tried to grab the cup. Later he kicked his grandmother in her leg. The grandma said he is spoiled at home and she may have said something about him that he found displeasing.

Fake UN officers

Two farmers who pretended to be UN officials and attempted to get a prisoner released were detained on site, Xiaoxiang Morning Herald reported Tuesday.

The farce occurred in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture in Central China's Hunan province on Saturday, when the two used fake UN identification and a forged release warrant signed by "Chinese President". One of the two men was trying to get his relative out, who still faces about seven years of imprisonment.

Official suspended for pornographic online chatting

An official surnamed Li was removed from his post for using obscene words while chatting with a woman on the Internet, in Pizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, Modern Express reported on Monday. The official was married and is the vice head of the security department of the Land Pizhou City Resources Bureau. The affair was exposed by the woman's boyfriend.

The dog's owner said that the dog, a husky, had been with him for five years and had became a member of the family.
