Easy FM unveils new format

Dozens of listeners of China Radio International's Easy FM program gathered at Today Art Museum recently to hear details of the program's new format.

Easy FM has adjusted its original programs such as The Pulse and Music Memories, and unveiled new programs.

Easy FM in Beijing, Hefei, Lanzhou, Xiamen, Chongqing, Guangzhou and Lhasa unveiled the new show format on April 10. Promotional activities will take place all over the country.

Two hostess from Easy FM, Lucy and Zhong Qiu, have a new live broadcast program Lady Lady from 2 to 4 pm from Monday to Friday, to share popular themes related to women and music.

The British DJ from The Groove Sessions offers various types of music, ranging from funk, jazz, to soul at 5 pm every day, to ease pressure of those who just go off work at rush hour.

From 8 to 11 am on each Saturday, Classic Saturday brings popular classic music from China and abroad to audiences. From 11 pm to midnight everyday, one can listen to In a World, to enjoy classic music from movies.

The English news program The Beijing Hour, which was originally broadcast from Monday to Friday, was expanded to 7 to 8 am and 7 to 8 pm every day.
