China Catering Expo opens in Macao

MACAO - The third China Catering Expo opened in Macao Friday, presenting delicacies from different regions to all visitors.

The three-day fair, occupying 35,000 square meters with about 1, 100 booths, attracted more than 200 restaurants and catering enterprises from 24 provinces in China and 25 Countries and regions. Top brands such as China Quanjude (Group) Co, Ltd., South Beauty Company Limited and global restaurant giant Yum! Brands, Inc., as well as other noted restaurants from the United States, France and Portugal were included.

The exhibition featured activities such as exhibition and negotiations, forum and conferences, business matching, fashion and gourmet shows, retail sale and lucky draws.

The expo was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) and the Secretariat for Economy and Finance of the Macao Special Administrative Region government. China Catering Expo used to be hold in Chengdu in 2005 and Xi'an in 2006.
