Former sites for sex slaves during World War II have become neglected in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu province.

There used to be nearly 50 sites for World War II sex slaves in Nanjing city, but only four of them are still standing. However, the four sites are also disappearing, Jschina.com.cn reported.

Some 100,000 to 200,000 Asian women were forced to become sex slaves, or comfort women, to provide sexual services to the Imperial Japanese Army during World War II.
