Starting on Friday, consumers can slide their bank cards and get powdered milk from automatic vending machines in five drugstores in Beijing, The Beijing News reported.
One can also pay by Alipay, an online payment service, but cash and health insurance cards are not accepted. Eleven brands were on sale, among them seven Chinese brands including Yili, Mengniu, Feihe, Sanyuan and Beingmate, and four foreign brands including Wyeth, Abbott, Dumex, and Nestle.
