The China Agriculture Film and Television Center recently presented its annual "Country Ceremony" to reward 10 people, including Ma Weidu and Chang Jiahuang, who have made significant contributions to folk culture inheritance, protection and development. At the ceremony various folk-art handicrafts and performances, such as wood engraving picture making and northern Shaanxi storytelling, were presented on stage. The ceremony will be televised by CCTV-7 on Dec 21.
