I Do, I Do, the Broadway musical, is about a couple's 50 years of married life. Two actors perform on the set consisting of the bedroom dominated by a large four-poster bed. The performance will be given with songs sung in English and dialogues in French. Chinese subtitles are available. This is the first time the musical will be staged in China.

A new Shrew

Artbeat: Shanghai

British theater director Paul Stebbings teams up with the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center to present the Chinese production of the Shakespearian comedy The Taming of the Shrew. The story is moved to Shanghai in the 1930s, when drastic social changes took place in Chinese families. Wang Zi, Wei Lai, Xu Jingli and Yuan Ye star.
