Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) minister of culture, youth and community development, said on Monday the Emirati-Chinese relations are strong, deep and robust, state news agency WAM reported.

The minister made the remarks on the 3rd Arabic Arts Festival with UAE's participation.

The event is being held in Beijing as part of the forum of " Ministers of culture of China and the Arab world" starting from Sept. 10 to 16.

Sheikh Nahyan stressed the importance of the distinguished relations between the UAE and the People's Republic of China in various fields which were characterized by ongoing enhancement of economic, cultural, educational and political ties.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the Gulf Arab state.
