(Xinhua) Updated: 2012-11-08 15:56

BELGRADE - A top Chinese trade official said on Wednesday that talks with the Serbian government were fruitful with grand consensus.

"A healthy and sustainable China-Serbia commercial relationship goes in line with both countries' interests," Chinese Vice Commerce Minister Zhong Shan told a press conference after talks with Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Finance and Economy Minister Mladjan Dinkic.

The main purpose of his visit, said Zhong, was to discuss the implementation of consensus reached by Chinese and Serbian leaders.

Dinkic said he was happy with bilateral cooperation in major infrastructure construction programs. He said Serbia would push for more cooperation with China in this field and that Serbia was willing to see the involvement of more Chinese enterprises in infrastructure construction in his country.
