Chinese leader invited: Premier Li Keqiang

Although Li has not yet visited Saint Petersburg, the two leaders had agreed during Medvedev's trip to China that Li would visit Medvedev's hometown of Saint Petersburg .

Medvedev offered Li the gift of an oil painting of St. Petersburg during their meeting in Russia in October 2014. The two leaders established good personal relations through their frequent meetings in China and Russia.

The frequent meetings between the two countries' leaders fully indicate that relations between China and Russia are strategic, stable and for the long run, Li said.

The two leaders witnessed the signing of the about 40 agreements after holding the 19th China-Russia Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting in Russia in October 2014.
