Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has had a powerful influence on Cuba. It has been recorded that TCM first arrived in Cuba in the early 19th century. The TCM legend continues to echo in Cuba to this day. While Cuban people refer to someone extremely sick beyond curing, they usually say, “Even the Chinese doctors cannot cure the disease!" This sentence has become a well-known saying in Cuba.
