For example, one rectangle percussion instrument called the “Caja China” evolved from the Chinese Drum, and is played with one drumstick. Moreover, the music of “Corneta China” (“suona” in Chinese, a reed instrument with a conical metal bell), has enjoyed enduring popularity and is part of Cuban traditional music customs.
