Chinese journalists and news organization managers visited Cambodia and Thailand in the second annual exchange event with Greater Mekong Subregion countries.

The event, which began on Sept 21, brought Chinese news organizations together with Southeast Asian mainstream media outlets. Memorandums for future cooperation were signed during the event.

Chinese journalists agreed to build an information exchange platform to provide new ideas in digital information and measures to promote the development of the regional news industry.

The first meeting was held in Yunnan province in June 2013.
