Las Vegas isn't just about gambling.

Known as the entertainment capital of the world, it also features delicious cuisine, glamorous nightlife and shopping of all sorts.

In addition, the Nevada amusement mecca offers visitors a number of thrill ride adventures.

1 El Loco roller coaster

The Adventuredome indoor theme park at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino recently unveiled the only indoor El Loco roller coaster in the United States.

Thrill-seekers can experience a 72-second ride with swift drops and dives, upside-down turns and over-the-edge twists, along with customized background music. The looping coaster can make tighter and faster turns as each open-carriage car has only four seats, fewer than average.

2 VooDoo Skyline zip line

Now people can experience a soaring zip line without leaving the city.

The VooDoo Skyline attraction at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino allows guests to zip from the top of the 50-story-high VooDoo Lounge across to the Ipanema Tower.

The breathtaking ride takes about 70 seconds and takes riders as fast as 53 kilometers per hour.

The zip line accommodates two riders at a time, and they can zip back to the lounge backwards.

3 High Roller Ferris wheel

The 168-meter High Roller, set to open soon on the Las Vegas, Strip will be the world's largest Ferris wheel - taller even than the 135-meter London Eye and 165-meter Singapore Flyer.

Passengers will be able to enjoy unparalleled bird's-eye views of the city from inside the glass-enclosed cabins during 30-minute rotations.

Each cabin has a capacity of 40 passengers, with audio and video systems, and people will even be able to hold parties or weddings in them.
