AMMAN - Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh said Sunday that Jordan is informed on all progress in Palestinian-Israeli peace talks and there is no final US proposal yet, the state-run Petra news agency reported.

"There are no final or written proposals yet by the United States but we are informed about the US thoughts in this regard, " said the minister.

"All parties involved keep us informed about all proposals discussed and we reserve our right to reject any proposal that is not in line with our national interests," Judeh added.

In his tours to the region, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry focuses on ending the Israeli occupation and creating an independent and sovereign Palestinian state and this is Jordan's position, he said.

The minister stressed Jordan does not negotiate on behalf of the Palestinians, but is a key player and part of the talks.

Kerry has visited the region ten times recently as part of efforts to draft a framework for a deal for peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
