2、The 2007 China Art Exposition

The 2007 China Art Exposition and the first Lot Exhibition opened at the China International Exposition Center in Beijing August 22. With a collection of the original works of over 400 young and middle-aged artists, the expo is expecting to welcome more than 100,000 visitors.

This year's expo, welcoming about 10 thousand exhibitions in all, is divided into six major sections, which are the Lots, the Oil Paintings, the Chinese Paintings, the Works of the Handicapped, the Guest International Works, and the Souvenir.

For 14 years, the section of Guest International Works has been an ornament to the expo. After countries like France, Russia, the United States, Canada, Germany, Korea, India and Cuba, this year's special guest Zimbabwe and Mozambique have brought them with their original wood cravings that represent the unique characteristics of African culture, crafted local contemporary artists.
