Art beat in January

Stillness Is the Move: The exhibition features two artists who have shared artistic intentions, materiality, sense of place and a similar personal interpretation of natural serenity and the intimacies of process. Li Xin is presenting 12 paintings in ink and oil, and Korean artist Yeong Gill Kim is showcasing his abstract rendering of traditional Korean landscapes.

New Christie on stage

Tong Zirong and Liu Guangning along with other acclaimed voice actors will present a new translation of the Agatha Christie play Murder on Air. The actors will be seen literally reading the story while being seated onstage.

Starsailor coming to China

British rock band Starsailor will launch its debut China tour in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen soon. Composed of guitarist and vocalist James Walsh, drummer Ben Byrne, bassist James Stelfox and keyboardist Barry Westhead, the band has released four studio albums so far and won critical acclaim.
