NANNING - One person has been confirmed dead in an explosion that occurred at a fireworks factory in south China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region Wednesday afternoon, according to local government sources.
The blast occurred at the Xichang Fireworks Factory in Hepu county at around 3 pm, local officials said.
The factory was licensed.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
