BEIJING - An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted Luntai county in northwestern Xinjiang at 5:51 am (Beijing Time) on Friday, according to the China Earthquake Network Center(CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was monitored at 42.2 degrees north latitude and 84.2 degrees east longitude, the center said.
