EP chief sends Spring Festival greetings via China Daily

As Chinese people celebrate the Spring Festival and the arrival of the Year of Monkey, Jo Leinen, Chairman of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with China, sends his greetings via China Daily exclusively.

Following is the text :

"Happy Chinese New Year! I wish you prosperity in this Year of the Monkey.

I sincerely hope you will be able to fulfill all your wishes during this coming year.

Last year marked the 40th anniversary of China-EU diplomatic relationship. It was a year which will mark the history between our two important global entities.

As the President of the EP Delegation for the relations with China, I sincerely hope that the relations between China and the EU can continue to prosper in the year ahead at all levels.

Let us live intensively this Year of the Monkey!"
