Six killed as gas cylinder explodes in Indian capital

NEW DELHI -- At least six people were killed as a gas cylinder exploded Friday in New Delhi, capital of India, local news channel Times Now reported.

According to local police, six people, including women and children, died in a cylinder blast in south Delhi. The incident was reported at 11:15 a.m. local time from Jasola area in south Delhi.

More details about the incident were awaited, police said.
