A US military official said Black Hawk helicopter crashed on Thursday in southern Afghanistan with four US troops believed to be on board, US media reported.
The crash is under investigation, the official was quoted by CNN as saying. The poor weather was likely a factor for the crash but enemy actions can not be ruled out yet.
There was no immediate report on casualties.
