RIO DE JANEIRO - Brazilian Paralympic swimming sensation Daniel Dias has promised to be at the peak of his powers at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro.
Dias, 24, was one of the stars of the London Paralympics, winning gold medals in all the six events in which he competed.

"I want to be at my peak in 2016," Dias told Terra on Sunday. "I thought about possibly reducing my number of events but I have decided to continue in all of them. I want to win as many gold medals as I can in front of my home supporters."
Brazil ended the London Paralympics with 21 gold medals - the most gold medal haul in history and the overall medals of 43, which also includes 14 silver medals and eight bronze medals, stands the second best behind the 47 they won at the Beijing Paralympics in 2008.
