Beijing People's Art Theater presents The Bad Girl, adapted from a novel by Peruvian Nobel laureate Mario Vargas Llosa. Playwright Chen Xiao-ling and director Tang Ye will present the story in Chinese, about a materialistic woman full of adventurous dreams and her lifelong entanglement with a man who is her exact opposite.

Stuttgart Chamber Choir

Art beat in August

The Kammerchor Stuttgart is a chamber choir with a history of 40 years. It has been praised as the ensemble with “the most perfect voice, possessing an outstanding lyrical, purity of intonation and plasticity on recitation that can hardly be surpassed”, the choir has a repertoire ranging from the 17th century to the 21st century. The concert will be conducted by Frieder Bernius, founder and director of the chamber choir.
