Deadly arrogance of 'The Grey Lady'

The caricature, a "bad-taste one" as put by the Huffington Post, holds a conspicuous prejudice in terms of race, nationality and class.

What lies behind the presumptuousness and prejudice of the NYT is its arrogance.

It is the arrogance that makes it turn a blind eye to international standards and refuse to acknowledge the reality of a rising developing world. It is the arrogance that leads to a degraded NYT which resorts to tabloid news and exaggeration to attract attention. It is also the arrogance that makes a NYT that goes against the global trend of cooperation in international relationship. In a word, it will eventually erode "The Grey Lady" and devours it no matter how honorable it is today.

If "The Grey Lady" fails to stop acting in an unscrupulous manner and restore its credit, it will never rebound from the "worst times" in its over-one-century history.
