TAIPEI - At least 10 tourists from a Chinese mainland tour group were sent to emergency rooms in a hospital in Hualien Friday due to suspected food poisoning.
Members of the tour group began to show symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea Thursday afternoon after eating seafood meal in Northwest Taipei's Yeliu resort, according to the island's tourism authorities.
The 40-member tour group came from Central China's Hubei province.
