Russia, India vow to enhance military, nuclear, anti-terror cooperation

India is currently an observer of the SCO. The bloc ratified a resolution on starting its expansion procedures of granting India and Pakistan full membership of the organization at its summer summit in Ufa, capital of Russia's Bashkortostan Republic.

The two countries urged international efforts to fight global terrorism within the framework of the UN, in strict compliance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions, and without double-standard, according to their joint statement.
