China and the Republic of Korea (ROK), the long-time partners in East Asia, have seen frequent high-level exchanges since South Korean President Park Geun-hye took office in 2013, which have lifted the bilateral relations to a new level. As Chinese Premier Li Keqiang prepares to pay an official visit to ROK to attend the sixth trilateral summit between China, Japan and the ROK, let's take a view at the interactions between China and South Korea during the past three years.

September, 2015

ROK President Park Geun-hye visited China from Sept 2 to 4 to attend the V-Day parade held in Beijing marking the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II and Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1937-45).

During a meeting with Premier Li Keqiang, Park said that cooperation between ROK and China in politics and economy has developed into strategic level. ROK is willing to make full use of the free trade pact, enhance cooperation in trade, finance and investment, and boost ties in smart technology, telecommunication, and health.
