KANEOHE BAY, Hawaii - President Barack Obama is adding a new player to his golf foursome: Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak.

The two leaders are hitting the links on a cloudy but warm afternoon in Hawaii at a Marine Corps base near the home Obama is renting. Both Obama and Najib are on the island on vacation.

Rounding out the foursome are two White House aides. Obama plays golf nearly every day of his vacation. He rarely expands his playing partners outside of a small circle of longtime friends and advisors.

Obama met earlier this year with Najib during a trip to Malaysia.

During Obama's annual Hawaii vacation last year, he played golf with New Zealand Prime Minister John Key.
