Car bomb kills police officer, injures 25 in southeast Turkey

ANKARA - One police officer was killed and 25 people wounded in a car bomb attack at a police headquarters in the town of Cizre in Southeast Turkey on Friday, hospital sources said.

Cizre is in Sirnak, a province that borders both Syria and Iraq and has a largely Kurdish population.
