Earthquake jolts Afghan capital and parts of Pakistan

KABUL - An earthquake measuring 7.1 at the Richter scale jolted the Afghan capital of Kabul and surrounding areas on Sunday, triggering panic among the residents.

However, there is no report about possible casualties so far.

Parts of northern and eastern Pakistan were also hit, local Urdu TV channel Samaa reported. A tremor was felt in Indian capital, said witnesses.
