Hollande welcomed Li's visit. He said the two nations' comprehensive strategic partnership has entered a new chapter, bringing many benefits to the people of China and France.

He said France highly appreciate China's announcement of independent contribution to tackle the climate change, saying it will be an important opportunity for the global community to deal with the climate change and achieve sustainable economic growth.

Hollande added that China's proposition of three-party cooperation is a positive idea that will benefit all parties. He said France and China's coordination and cooperation in key international and regional issues will contribute to world peace and stability.

The two sides also agreed to establish a China-France mutual fund to provide financing support for joint industrial investments as they cooperate to explore the third-party market.
