Spaniard confirmed dead in Paris attacks is alive: reports

MADRID -- Spanish citizen Alberto Pardo Touceda who was confirmed dead in Friday's Paris attacks is alive, local media reported Sunday after speaking with his family.

Pardo's identity card was found at Bataclan, which caused the mistake in the body identification. Pardo had lost his identity card years ago and it appeared at Paris' Bataclan, where one of the attacks took place on Friday. However he is in Strasbourg, where he lives, safe and sound, according to the reports.

He called his family and friends as well as leaving a message on Facebook to inform he is alive. Official sources had called his family on Sunday morning to confirm his death, however, his family was able to talk to him in the evening.

So far, three Spanish citizens, one of them with also Mexican nationality, have been confirmed dead in Paris attacks instead of four as reported on Sunday morning. One more was injured.
