IS gunmen attack S. Korea's embassy in Libya, killing 2

SEOUL - Gunmen attacked South Korea's embassy in Libya on Sunday, killing at least one guard, Seoul's foreign ministry said.

The ministry said the militants aboarding a car fired at the front of the embassy compound.

"There are no reported casualties of South Korean nationals," said an official.

Libya is among the six countries on which South Korea has imposed a travel ban, Yonhap News Agency reported.

The five other countries are Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Syria and Afghanistan. Travel to those nations requires special government permission.
