All saved from stranded S Korean cruise ship

SEOUL - All people aboard a stranded South Korean cruise ship were saved, local broadcaster YTN reported Tuesday.

The cruise ship ran aground at 9:10 am local time in the southwestern coast, and the Coast Guard received the first distress signal four minutes later, the broadcaster said, citing the Coast Guard.

All 109 people, including 104 passengers and 5 crewmen, were saved some 16 minutes after the accident, YTN reported.
