MOSCOW - Two explosions were reported Tuesday at a military testing ground in Russia's Orenburg region, some 1,500 km south to Moscow.
According to the local emergency department, there were no immediate reports about possible casualties so far.
An investigation has already been launched on the order of Orenburg Region Governor Yury Berg, said Igor Dmitrachkov, the governor's spokesman.
"All emergency services, including the Emergency Situations Ministry units, firefighters and ambulances are heading to the site," he was quoted by Interfax news agency as saying.
