Asia lawyers discuss corporate dispute resolutions

VLADIVOSTOK - Judges and legal experts from the Asia-Pacific discussed the optimal models of corporate regulation and dispute resolution Friday during a lawyers forum here.

At the International Forum of Lawyers from the Asia-Pacific, the participants discussed a number of issues, including the resolution of corporate disputes in arbitration courts, regulations of cross-border corporate relations and responsibilities in corporate legal relations.

The participants also covered corporate law trends and prospects, current problems in protecting the rights of legal entities.

Judges and legal experts from Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Singapore, Japan and other countries participated the forum held by the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation in Vladivostok.

The International Forum of Lawyers from the Asia-Pacific has been held since 2007. It gives judges and lawyers an opportunity to learn about innovations in legal and economic systems of Asia-Pacific countries and to discuss vital issues of corporate law.
