6.0-magnitude quake hits Philippines

BEIJING - An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted the Philippines at 6:18 am (Beijing Time) on Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Network Center (CENC).

The epicenter, with a depth of 30 kilometers, was monitored at 15.6 degrees north latitude and 119.6 degrees east longitude, the center said.
