BMW owner throws cash at police

It is hard to imagine someone throwing away their money to express anger. Surprisingly that is exactly what happened.

A man threw two bags of cash into police duty pavilion to express his unhappiness about a traffic ticket in Hefei, Anhui province, reported china.org.cn on Friday.

According to a witness, the traffic police patrolling a neighborhood wrote a ticket to a BMW that was illegally parked at a crossing.

When the car owner returned and found the ticket, he went to the traffic officer and argued about the ticket. After he failed to persuade the officer to cancel the fine, he angrily threw about a million yuan ($161,000) cash into the duty pavilion and drove away.

The money was later returned to the driver along with his ticket.
