The performance involved highlights from the Kunqu Opera "The Peony Pavilion," "The performance of ancient qin," "The Art of Chinese Xinjiang Uyghur Muqam," "Mongolian traditional folk Long Song," as well as "Dong nationality dage (big songs)" and "Yi nationality Haicai qiang" and so on.

UNESCO organizing this art festival helped China display its achievement of intangible cultural heritages protection and declare its determination to the whole world. Additionally, the art festival also promoted the protection of world intangible cultural heritages, and boosted the development of cultural diversity.
