From the beginning to the end of 2007, China held cultural exchange years with more than ten nations of the world, including Russia, Japan, Korea, Spain, Vietnam, France, and so on.
Today, China aims at occupying national and international markets, promoting cultural influences in the world.
Year of Spain in China
The Year of Spain in China, a national exchange program to build friendship and boost cooperation between the two countries, swing into high-gear in August, 2007. Chinese audiences got a taste of Spanish culture through three major exhibitions showcasing the country's national treasures and tiptop artworks.
The exhibitions included "From Titian to Goya," presented by the Prado National Museum, (Museo Nacional del Prado) in Madrid, "Cosmos Gaudi: Architecture, Geometry and Design," and "Fantasy and Expression: Spain Modern Art Exhibition."
