2、Performance of Chinese disabled artists touches Israelis, Palestinians

Invited by Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital of Norway which chaired a four-day annual international network seminar on rehabilitation in the West Bank city of Bethlehem, artists from China Disabled People's Performing Art Troupe performed in Bethlehem on Friday evening and in Jerusalem on October 18th evening.

Waddah Malhis, medical director of Jerusalem Princess Basma Center, said that there were many physical disabled and hearing impaired person in their center. The performance of these Chinese disabled artists makes them realize it was possible for the disabled to do a lot of things.

3、The 4th China International Piano Competition

The 4th China International Piano Competition was held from October 15th to 25th, 2007 in Xiamen, China. It is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China, undertaken by the Xiamen Municipal Government of China and is conducted by the Competition Organizing Committee.

The first competition was held in September 1994 and drew 37 contestants from 18 countries, while the second, in December 1999, attracted 47 competitors from 19 countries and the third, in May 2004, was attended by 38 contestants from 25 countries. Notable past winners include Chen Sa, Li Yundi and Qin Chuan.
