1、Promoting Chinese Performance outside China

Recent years, the number of cultural exchanges between China and other countries are on the rise. In the Report to the Seventeenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China on Oct. 15, 2007, to vigorously develop the cultural industry, to create a thriving cultural market is became a strategic plan, which provided a significantly historical opportunity for China’s cultural development. Promoting Chinese language and culture outside China also has become a historical task. On this occasion, co-organized by Ministry of Culture , China Cultural News, Beijing Daily, the 2007 Summit Forum of “Promoting Chinese Performance Outside” was held on 12, December.

China’s officers in culture industry, representatives in Performance Company and art institutions, and scholars from Beijing University, Qinghua University, and Chinese academy of social sciences attended the conference and made discussions the exchange and development of Chinese performance art.
